What Hitched does for you

Launch & retrieval

Backing a trailer down a busy ramp is the worst part of the day. Let someone who does it all day handle it.

On your schedule

On-demand at the ramp during the beta. Scheduled jobs and round-trips come with the full app.

White-glove valet

Want the full treatment? We’ll deliver your boat right to your dock and reverse it when you’re done.

Vetted helpers

Every helper is identity-checked and skill-verified before they ever touch your rig.

Where we’re live

Starting on the Intracoastal Waterway

The beta runs at one ramp first — so every boater gets a great experience — then we expand across the Gulf Coast.

Built on trust

We don’t put just anyone behind your truck

Verified before the first job

Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a skill video — every helper shows us they can back a trailer before they’re approved.

Background checked

Criminal history, sex-offender registry, and driving record — run by the same provider Uber and DoorDash use.

GPS-tracked jobs

Every job is live-tracked and logged from start to finish, so there’s never a question about what happened at the ramp.

Private by default

Your phone number is never shared. Messages and calls are masked, and your details stay yours.

Questions

What is Hitched?+

Think of it as a ride-share for the boat ramp. Hitched connects boaters with verified local helpers who launch, retrieve, and handle your boat and trailer so you don’t have to.

How much does it cost?+

During our soft launch it’s completely free. We’re proving the service and learning what boaters want before we set pricing.

Where is it available?+

The beta runs at The Launch at ICW in Orange Beach, Alabama, on the Intracoastal Waterway. More Gulf Coast ramps are coming — sign up and we’ll text you the moment we go live near you.

Who are the helpers?+

Local, vetted people who know boats and ramps. Each one passes identity verification, insurance checks, a skill video, and a background check before they’re allowed to help.

Is my boat safe?+

That’s the whole point. Helpers are verified and every job is GPS-tracked, and during the beta a Hitched person is on-site with you the entire time. Your contact details stay private.

When does the full app launch?+

Soon. The beta is how we get there. Join now and you’ll be first to know — and first to get matched — when it goes live.
